Daviess County Middle School Reviews

I think that DCMS is a great i started going there in the 7th grade on the paws team, I loved the teachers, and yeah I will admit I did get in trouble but the teachers understand. One teacher I really liked was Ms. Estes, she was nice and very kind and easy going. Now that im in the 8th grade I'm starting to like school even more, the 8th grade so far as tought me that i can be who ever as i much. On the Den team its really fun. But the Pride team isnt bad, my friends on that team say that the teachers are alson nice. So as you can see the teachers at DCMS are fun but also need the students to listen and behave to the class rules.

The school is great. They really do everything they can to help with anything and everything. I'll be entering the 8th grade this fall, and so I know a lot of the people. Most of them are great and irreplaceable.

The staff at DCMS is very cooperative and very caring excepting a few people. Other than that the school is a great place to be. My kids enjoy the school and have made many friends. Mrs. Valerie O'Bryan is an awesome guidance counseler, she makes you feel right at home. There are many oppurtunities to become active in extra-curricular activities and if you excel you can even advance your competition level to high school if you are in the eigth grade. THe parents are very involved and there are plenty of oppurtunities for volunteering if you are that type of parent and you have the time. The academic programs are very thorough and well explained thanks to some of the great teachers such as Mr. Steve Goodrid. THere are classes for every ability type. Overall I think that this school welcomes with open arms.

Daviess Co. Middle has been great. I see a lot of compassion for the children and children who care about one another. Ms. O'bryan is Great and the Principal has instilled a great set of values for the staff and children for what I have seen. My daughter is in Advanced classes and doing very well. When the fear of going to Middle school is gone the first day, you know you are attending a class act school!!!

DCMS is a great school with wonderful teachers. The guidance counselors are also very friendly and easily accessable to both students and concerned parents.
